NPR: Internet chatter had led to speculation that it might be an urban myth — nothing more than clever digital trickery spreading via the Web.
But our friend Bob Collins at Minnesota Public Radio assures us he’s seen it with his own eyes:
There is a billboard along I-35 near Wyoming, Minn., with a huge photo of former president George W. Bush and this question: “Miss Me Yet?”
Now, the push is on to find out who paid to have it put up. ……
TrogloPundit wants to buy the guy a beer.
I’ll bet Obama misses Bush the most. He can only continue blaming the guy for so long before the people stop buying it.

Update: Mystery solved – sort of. It was a group of small business owners who wish to remain anonymous.
Update: Don’t get me wrong, I certainly didn’t approve of everything Bush did. But everything he did wrong, ie amnesty, No Child Left Behind, expanding Medicare, etc. was bipartisan. He strayed from conservative principles. If he had refused to work with the Democrats and progressives he (and our republic) would have had much more success. The Other McCain and The Camp of the Saints have more on the subject, but still, I’d take George W. Bush over Barack H. Obama any day.

Been a fan of the site for sometime. I was on the internet and was looking up this one. I found this:

I’ve already read some kickback on the whole missing Bush theme. Michelle Maulkin posts a laundry list of transgressions.
My take? Yes, Bush DID screw the pooch in many ways. However, he was steadfast on defense and the alternative of either Gore or Kerry in the White House was unthinkable.
Too many peeps forget that Bush got in not because citizens voted FOR him…but rather they voted AGAINST those other two clowns.

I would add that when Bush stuck to conservative principles he was okay. When he strayed and worked with the other side – immigration, Medicare expansion, No Child Left Behind – that’s when he screwed up.
