It’s no secret that Obama’s one of the biggest liars alive, even by political standards. But this takes the cake. He’s just completely making stuff up. This was from earlier this month, but it’s still worth pointing out. He was talking to Senate Democrats about the “enormous procedural obstacles that are unprecedented..”
Hugh Hewitt: “You had to cast more votes to break filibusters last year than in the entire 1950s and 1960s combined. That’s 20 years of obstruction jammed into just one.”
This is astonishing. A filibuster is the successful use of 41 or more votes to prevent the closing of debate. There wasn’t a single filibuster in 2009. Not one.
The president will say anything to advance a narrative that makes him a victim of obstruction.
Even members of Obama’s own party are starting to notice his lies. Sen. Jay Rockefeller said he’s “beginning to be not believable to me” because of the clean coal issue. My goodness, is there anything Obama won’t lie about?
This man is pathological. Recently, he is what the Clintons lack in sincerity and jealous of. With the advent of global communication, it makes him the most believable person to walk the face of the earth since Jesus, who was a true spokesman for humanity, and that gives him (Obama) the following that is undeserved.

Cap & Trade, like so many of this administration’s top legislative priorities, needs to be bludgeoned to death with a shovel and pick-axe then buried in a shallow grave waaaaay out in the middle of nowhere. I cannot emphasis that enough.
Even if I bought into Global Warming, it would be difficult, if not impossible to overlook the nearer-term economic consequences of undercutting the whole coal mining industry (not to mention the ripple effect it would have on railways, trucking companies, heavy equipment manufacturers and untilities) and taking punitive measures against utilities that have coal-fired power plants.
Rockafeller knows that the 0bama Administration’s definition of ‘clean coal’ is likely to leave his state up poo-poo creek without a paddle. Why the voters of Pennsylvania and West Virginia weren’t able to figure this out in….I dunno…..NOVEMBER 2008 is beyond me.
