I really don’t know why this is an issue. Feminists need to get a grip. If a major sports magazine wants to grace it’s cover with a lovely young woman, what’s the big deal? That’s a good thing.

Look, they even gave her a compliment: “America’s Best Woman Skier Ever.” Don’t you feminists have something more to worry about, like how the politicians in Washington are drowning our kids in debt? Or does being a feminist release you from any obligation to look out for your own kids?
Vonn’s semi-provocative pose has drawn the predictable ire from those who claim that it objectifies her. She’s an athlete, not a sex symbol, the chorus inevitably reminds us.
From womentalksports.com: …..
As a woman, mom, and (kind of) skier, I’m offended at the offense taken by the FemNazi’s. Get a life, women!

Oh nooooo! An attractive young woman in a skintight outfit on the cover of a magazine about sports!
Wow…that’s almost as offensive as a Heisman-winning quarterback doing a pro-life ad that’s set to air during the Superbowl.
Won’t the Womyn’s Media Center or NOW save us from these unspeakable horrors? No….wait- saving us won’t be sufficient. We need a group to save us from 30-second pro life ads (that I’ll probably miss anyways) and attractive women in skintight outfits that will constantly remind us how wonderful they are for saving us from the scourges of decent, mainstream society in the process.

Are they kidding? She is recognized as the Best Woman Skier Ever AND objectified as a really hot babe?
What woman would reject THAT double coup? Janet Napolitano??
Only insecure women with terrible self esteem feel the need for feminism. I know I’m smart; I know I’m capable; I know that I know a lot more about cars than some men out there. None of that goes away if a man decides to be a gentleman and hold a door for me and recognize that I am female, and pay me that small compliment. Poor Feminazi babes. Hope ObamaCare provides for their psychoanalyst visits.
