Another day, another $4.00 in revenue from my advertising. Good thing I haven’t quit my day job. Then again, since I haven’t quit my day job I couldn’t possibly get to every story I wanted to get to today. Thank God for fast drying nail polish or I’d be a complete wreck.

Did you hear about Senator Blanche Lincoln? She’s so afraid of her constituents she’s going up against Dear Leader. Really. She’s not the only one. A slew of Democrats are now running against The One. Something along this line: “Gosh darn it, if we’re bankrupting our nation we sure better get our share while the gettin’s good.” Democrat governors are taking a different tack. They didn’t get the memo that calling voters “tea baggers” may be a good way to raise money from the fringe base, but doesn’t do much to increase one’s favorability rating among the voters.

Fitchburg, MA was in the news recently during the Scott Brown campaign. They’re back in the news again. Da Techguy has been reporting on how Porkulus funds are being used to open a Planned Parenthood facility in Fitchburg. The people are putting up a good fight and he was there today for the city counsel meeting. Keep up the good fight!

The Illinois primaries are over and The Other McCain has the post mortem. Adam Andrzejewski didn’t win the gubernatorial republican primary, Bill Brady did. All I can say is, every grass roots campaign that’s come up short this year has learned something and should have a stronger showing next time around. As for Mark Kirk (running for Senate), writing for Red State, Leon Wolf points out that we could do much worse than Kirk. Left Coast Rebel disagrees.

Bashing Keith Olbermann is always fun and The Other McCain doesn’t disappoint in this post. Olbermann’s a typical lefty who has blinders on when it comes to his own party. Even more fun is the great photo shop by Carol at No Sheeples Here, and her commentary on Dear Leader’s “hoof and mouth” disease. Reaganite Republican provided a bit of “hump day humor,” too.

The most refreshing thing I’ve seen all day is this exchange between Morgan Freeman and Mike Wallace on Black History Month. Big hat tip to Left Coast Rebel.

That’s it for this post. I have to apply my second coat of polish.

It was the classic “deer in the headlights” look from Wallace when Morgan asked him that question. Wallace for a second or two really couldn’t grasp the concept. Maybe someone should invite Mr. Freeman to speak at a tea party.

I agree. It was great to see Wallace try to dance around that one. Freeman had him dead nuts.
