Flashback: Obama Loves Special Interests – SEIU and ACORN

This guy’s too much. Here he is in 2006 railing against special interests, and then telling special interests like ACORN and the SEIU how much he loves them.

Speaking of those special interests, specifically the unions, Yid With Lid has an informative post documenting how woefully underfunded the unions’ pension plans are, and how that’s driving decisions made by the Obama administration. Ed Morrissey points out that union pensions are a looming entitlement disaster akin to Social Security and Medicare, which is why they are desperate to pass card check. Enrolling more employees is the only way for them to keep the Ponzi scheme going.

It’s mind boggling that those who are supposed to represent the people are doing everything in their power to make matters worse.
