These people are absolutely insane! None of the past stimulus bills have done a thing to create jobs. All they’re doing is racking up more debt. So, what are they doing? Another stimulus bill. Unbelievable!
The Hill: Democrats are set to unveil a new jobs initiative Wednesday that will provide grants to local governments to save or create jobs.
House Education and Labor Committee Chairman George Miller (D-Calif.) will join other lawmakers and mayors to announce a $100 billion program to support jobs initiatives in local governments and municipalities.
“Our goal is to retain or create a million jobs,” Miller said during an appearance on CNBC Wednesday morning. “There’s some very serious concern that the small, good news we’re getting right now on the unemployment figures could be wiped out by what’s going to happen in local governments, if they don’t get some assistance.”

ANY gov’t job “created” by this money DOES NOT COUNT.
All gov’t is supported by the taxes paid by the private sector. Since the salaries of gov’t workers are tax dollars..the money these workers pay in taxes isn’t additional gov’t revenue…it’s just counting the same dollar twice.
