No Prosecution of ACORN by Brooklyn DA

The New York Daily News is reporting that the Brooklyn DA won’t be prosecuting ACORN.

While the video by James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles seemed to show three ACORN workers advising a prostitute how to hide ill-gotten gains, the unedited version was not as clear, according to a law enforcement source.

“They edited the tape to meet their agenda,” said the source.

O’Keefe and Giles – who visited ACORN offices in several cities, including its Brooklyn headquarters – stirred controversy when they posted the videos on their Web site.

I haven’t seen the unedited video, but what I did see was pretty damning. They certainly don’t deserve taxpayer funding. And even if they are cleared based on the evidence of two amateur college kids, why aren’t they being investigated for using taxpayer funds for overtly political activities? Why aren’t their finances being investigated?

What he found was that O’Keefe edited the video to make it look worse than it actually was and the unedited version showed there was no wrongdoing. If a MSM organization had shown such bias in editing, you’d be screaming bloody murder. If you have any integrity you would hold O’Keefe and Breitbart to the same standards.
