Remember this Date – A Sad, Sad Day in America

Well, the deal is done.  Our government has just acted against the wishes of the majority of Americans. We are no longer a representative republic.

Pat Cadell, a Democrat, said this will be the Democrats’ ‘Jonestown’ moment. It’s been a long weekend and I’m tired. Thanks for coming around. I’ll be back tomorrow.

Just remember, there are no moderate democrats.

Addendum: For the first time in my life I am not proud of my country.

Not your first time. But you’re realizing finally that God didn’t make this country great, but his people serving Him did. And His people have slowly stopped serving Him. Certainly His congressmen and women. And WE elected them, not God. We have failed God. WE have let this country down, led it into shame.

And you knew this when Obama was elected – he was going to be the pro-life cause’s worst nightmare to date, from womb to the tomb.

And WE did this by getting mad at republicans and voting for “the other guy” whomever that was. Be careful now not to vote in more “other guy’s” that are just as bad or worse than these guys.

Paul is so right. We need to get over being mad and start preparing to DEFEAT every Democrat and Lindsey Graham style Republicans in Nov.
Websites like this are so very important to keep the public informed to change what this administration is doing.

It seems that the only support for this disaster comes from non working, entitlement recipient, non tax paying individuals who will not be affected by the historical tax increases about to be imposed on us. We need a complete shut down, general strike and a mass exodus from the US.

I think your comment about not being proud of your country is totally out there.

No matter what happens there is always a way to fix this, they have already announced that there going on a tour to explain this dysfunctional bill , and we can more than likely bet on allot of smoke and mirrors and BS to say the least. But the country will always hold strong.

We as a country will pull through this and make it work the way it should work.

LC, thanks very much for your hard work over the weekend and last night. I just could not bring myself to watch the train wreck.

And I agree with your comment—I’m not proud either. It’s not about this disastrous, immoral, unconstitutional bill. It’s about the psychological turn the country has taken; the sheer number of people who either think it is good and moral or don’t think at all, and hand over this sort of Federal power without caring about or understanding the ramifications. Or understanding perfectly well, and deliberately assist in the damage.

The saddest thing, I think, is watching the death of the Constitution. And once you’re on board for this kind of thing….might as well join the European Union and consider the American Experiment over and done. I’m glad I’m old enough to have enjoyed some of the glory.

You do such hard work, and it really is so important. Especially for those of us who just can’t bear to watch it live. Thanks for that. ((((( Constitutional hug, for you )))

Thanks! Now it’s time to get to work. What a sad day. Woke up and turned on the TV and it was Kathleen Sebelius. She said this will pay for itself. I had to turn it off.

12/7/41, 9/11/01, 11/4/08 3/21/10 – dates that will live in infamy in the history of our once-great nation. Heaven help us. The thugocracy has made their tyrrany official now. Their “principles” are as deep as Stupak’s, as deep as a saucer.
