Fox News reported earlier that dozens of states are drafting challenges to ObamaCare if it passes. The key is the mandate forcing Americans to purchase health insurance. It’s not like the requirement for auto insurance, as driving is a privilege and nobody can force you to buy a car or get your drivers license. Under the Democrats’ plan, we will be forced to purchase health insurance just because we’re alive. Lis Wiehl explains. It could all rest on the shoulders of one Supreme Court Justice – Anthony Kennedy. That’s enough to give you indigestion.
Pause the video at about 1:36 for a map of the states to see if your state is looking out for your rights. Needless to say, New York is not on the list. This law will cost New Yorkers a lot of money, and our state government is not looking out for us. In fact, it will cost all states a ton of dough, and every state should challenge this legislation.

The Heritage Foundation says if this gets in front of SCOTUS they will have to demand a new constitutional doctrine to make the mandates legal. That won’t be an easy thing to accomplish. From what I read, Kennedy would have a hard time bucking the reasoning behind it. Sigh.

You’d think the staes would get smart.
Medicaid requires states kick in funds.
Why do they do this? Why don’t they simply say we’re not spending that money so either get over it or stop with the program.
They CAN’T kick the poor the elderly the children to the curb.
They can’t force the states to pay either.
Vote OUT all…ALL incumbents and vote in those with cajones to do the right thing.
