I got three wrong. I think it was about 90%. Can you do better?
I was kind of bummed that I didn’t ace the test, but hey, I did better than the majority of Americans and educators who took it.
Are you more knowledgeable than the average citizen? The average score for all 2,508 Americans taking the following test was 49%; college educators scored 55%. Can you do better? Questions were drawn from past ISI surveys, as well as other nationally recognized exams.
Check out their findings from last year. It’s abysmal. We keep throwing more money into education and Americans can’t pass a basic civics quiz. The scariest part – elected officials score lower than most Americans with an average of only 44%. No wonder our republic is in the shape it’s in.
I heard about this on the Mike Church radio show.

Canadian and I only got 66% – most of what I did know I learned from Glen Beck.

78 and some change.
That wasn’t easy!
IMO: some of the questions don’t specify who is doing the spending, gov’t or the private sector.
Sadly I know in my heart the average HS senior would not have a clue and totally tank on this test.
