I suspect the Republican National Committee will send a nice thank you card to Alcee “Super Genius” Hastings. I further suspect the card will be inscribed as follows:

    Dear Representative Hastings,

Just wanted to thank you for the nice video clip, which we’ll put to good use. This is truly a gift that will keep on giving. :)

    Sincerely,

    Michael Steele
    Chairman, RNC

So…uh…when are we gonna admit that The Constitution is no longer in effect?

…and when we do, what are we gonna do about it? Carry signs, send emails and make phone calls? Elect the same group of politicians who screwed us in 2004 and 2006? (Let alone considerations of the broken Contract with America.)

Let’s hope the R’s learned their lesson. The D’s haven’t. If the American people would stop asking what the government could do for them, and believing politicians’ lies, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

Unfortunately, human nature will never change….that is, to be selfish. Even you. Even me. We can fight not to be, yes.
The R.’s think about being wise, the D.’s think being empathetic. Both are good, but what is best..
Maybe it’s time we stopped all the R&D and put our heads together.

Hey, what respect for the law do you expect an impeached and removed (corruption and perjury) ex-judge to have?

The next 4 years will be critical. If this monstrosity passes, we need to nullify it. This crap cannot stand. No Democrat (and Republican) deserves to be elected unless he swears on his grave that he will vote to repeal the Obamacare. And this includes ALL senators and representatives. I am not looking for compromising and working together across the party line – I don’t think Americans should rest unless the entire party apparatus that brought THIS unto American people is destroyed.

As one of the more obnoxious & offensive of Cruells Di Pelosi’s minions Rep Hastings maundering remarks just underline the contempt for the Constitution that is a basic tenet of the Democratic party. Their motto is RULES WE DON’T NEED NO STINKING RULES.

Lib’rals don’t play by the rules
Though they find ‘em most useful tools
    They shade ‘em and twist
    And shake a clenched fist
Thinking those that obey them are fools

We need a list of ways to punish these anti-constitutional
nitwits starting today – whether it passes or not – and it
can not wait until November because there will be a whole
bunch of distractions served up deliberately. It is easy
to fool everybody most of the time when you have the press
carrying your water for you, otherwise we would not be here !
They have violated their oath of office and ought to be
censured or impeached, challenged in primaries, exposed,
recalled, and otherwise hounded out of office.

There were no rules for this thief when he was a judge taking bribes. Speaking of felons, how about the fund-raiser for Sour-puss Reid organized by another South Florida felon. The Dems have a real nice little group, don’t they!!

  8. [...] Yes, Alcee Hastings’ quote in this clip refers to the composition of rules for the specific bill, and he uttered this before the Democrats climbed down from their Slaughter Strategy, or DemonPass. However, it reeks of the arrogance that Democrats have shown throughout this convoluted effort to pass a bill opposed by a large majority of Americans in order to put one-sixth of the American economy under government rule — and to force every American to account to the IRS for our health insurance. And if Democrats in Congress feel comfortable with making up rules as they go along to get ObamaCare in place, won’t they feel just as comfortable using the same whimsical approach to the rules after they take over American health care?
