Only Democrats and their adoring fans in the media could construe the unemployment numbers as good news. They’re trying a different tack, saying they thought it would be worse. The media’s playing right along. I can’t help but think of the constant drumbeat of negative press on the economy when unemployment was at 5% when George W. Bush was president.
Harry Reid actually said it’s a great day in America because “only” 36,000 people lost their jobs.
Hey Harry – tell that to the 36,000 who got canned last week! Tell it to the nearly 15 million people who can’t find jobs!

Unbeliveable when I saw that clip on drudge today showing Harry Reid HAPPY that 35,000 people lost their jobs.
Rush brought to everyones attention the fact that when all these new college grads hit the street looking for jobs come this summer, you can expect the unemployment numbers to get very ugly.
We have a very weak President that does not understand how jobs are created.
1. CUT ALL TAXES. Employers do not hire for a tax break. They hire because they need the help. Tax cuts give people the confidence to spend money which when tried works everytime.
2. DO NOT LET THE BUSH TAX CUTS EXPIRE.
Letting them expire in this current weak economy will only further keep people from spending.
I know what I am wishing with this Congress and President is not possible but hopefully we can have a Revolution in this Country come November.
