Evan Coyne Maloney took a trip down memory lane to show the lefty protesters the media all but ignored.
Once President Obama was sworn in, protesting became incitement to violence.
If you’ve opened up a newspaper or watched a cable news program in the past week or so, you’ve probably seen members of the media painting Tea Party activists as dangerous bigots. That’s because disagreeing with President Obama on issues like government spending and high taxes makes you a racist, you see.
What’s interesting about the media’s latest freak-out is that there were radicals a-plenty under President Bush. They protested in the streets. They talked openly about revolution and killing. But oddly, the violent imagery used by people claiming to be advocates for peace never registered with the media. They were too busy fawning over Cindy Sheehan.

A few politicians made the mistake back in 2002 or thereabouts of making the accusation that anyone who was opposed to fighting the war on terrorism was unpatriotic.
The Left took that and then beat the right over the head with it 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 times from that moment on by simply CLAIMING in each post that they were unpatriotic in every post, every speech and every dialogue they held.
It worked. The moderates were convinced that those Republicans were evil. Turn the tables. I know claim Im a racist, biggot and homophobe on every liberal or moderate blog I participate in.

Remember Bush was Hitler and that was okay. Calling Obama a socialist is akin to Racism. Yet 75 members of the democratic party are members of the Democratic Socialists of America. What are we supposed to think?
If 75 members of The GOP were members of the Nazi party I could see calling Bush, Hitler. But 75 members of the Democratic party are members of a socialist organization and WE ARE EVIL RACISTS for calling them Socialists?

SOME of the actions of those who disagreed with Bush and/or the war WERE unpatriotic.
The left spun this to imply the right said all of their actions were “Un American.”
The mantra then became: Dissent is the highest form of patriotism…..Apparently NOT so as now the shoe is on the other foot.
They are hypocrites, liars, thieves and traitors.

Yep…yep. Its why you confuse the issue, conflate it and then link it. Its called controlling the debate. The left was allowed to control the debate and hence the right was reacting instead of attacking in their debates.
