This just goes to show that the tea party movement really is a grass roots movement and opposition to it is manufactured by the Democrats and their comrades in the media.
The Hill: Four in 10 Tea Party members are either Democrats or Independents, according to a new national survey.
The findings provide one of the most detailed portraits to date of the grassroots movement that started last year.
The national breakdown of the Tea Party composition is 57 percent Republican, 28 percent Independent and 13 percent Democratic, according to three national polls by the Winston Group, a Republican-leaning firm that conducted the surveys on behalf of an education advocacy group. Two-thirds of the group call themselves conservative, 26 are moderate and 8 percent say they are liberal.
The left would have you believe the tea parties are made up of a bunch of radical right wing extremists. In reality it’s made up of sensible Americans with enough common sense to understand that we’re headed in the wrong direction.
Welcome, AOL News readers!

Saying 4 in 10 are Democrats or Independents is a truthful lie. Similarly, using the magical “or” I can truthfully state that 79% of Wii gamers are child molesters or male. A still provocative, but not misleading, headline might be: “43% of Tea Partiers are not Republican”.

You need only see a photograph of one of the “Tea Party” events to see that they are far from mainstream. Unless mainstream America consisers themselves angry, white, mostly male, seperatist. Here’s a poll you should take…how many of the Tea Party men will support Sarah Palin in 2012?

Tea partiers are republican puppets, They are not middle class Americans who are threatened daily by job loss, and all that a good job provides. Guareentee, in the near future some of those tea partiers will be in the unemployeement line looking for some of the help they want to denie others who have had to go down that road before them. All due to the trade policies of the people they dance for.

Given this administrations current economy-killing agenda and policies, longer unemployment lines are a pretty sfe bet.
But hey! Since the stimulus worked so well, lets allow the same people who passed that to redefine healthcare! And when we’re done with that, maybe every last American can pay more for their energy costs thanks for cap & trade!!

Come on, wake up, Invading Iraq put this country in the red for generations to come, You, evidently are one of the have’s who are afraid one of the havenots might get one of your dimes. This is still one nation and we should all be looking out for each other. Believe it or not, all the people who are hurting today are not dead beats. How often do you look for the American lable? Bet never, you are to worried about your money and would rather buy from China. Better wake up and look for politicians who support getting out of our trade treaties. I did not defend this administration, I think they missed the boat big time but the Tea Party is just another tool Republicans use to push their agenda which is a one world economy. Check their trade policy. free trade = one world economy. We can still save our country and find comon ground.

Oh…and one more thing. I got laid off last year, collected unemployment (a system that I PAID INTO, I might add) for all of ONE MONTH before working a string of temporary, seasonal and part-time jobs since then. By cutting back and sacrificing, I’ve since been able to pay off my credit card, my auto insurance and most of my car payments. I notice that you’re very generous with my (presumed) wealth, however.
I currently lack healthcare coverage, and even tho’ on paper I might benefit from 0bamacare, I want NOTHING to do with it. I would rather have one provided by a FULL-TIME employer in the private sector….you know, the one this current administration has apprently declared war on. Why should responsible individuals or employers who purchased health insurance have to pay for this new monistrosity that nobody wants?
We can still save our country and find comon ground.
When your idea of ‘common ground’ begins with government emptying out my bank account for another entitlement program because I disagree with you, then we have nothing to discuss.
Kindly fuck off.

Fenway, what ever, you miss the part where I said Obama missed the boat by a mile, your situatiion is an example, I feel jobs would have been what should have been sought. Not health care. Jobs would have solved both problems. This brings me to my main objection with the tea party, they support politicians who are hard core Free Trade, this is the core problem of our whole country. I am big enough to appologize if I have offended you. But if America doesn’t wake up and take our country back by stoping Free trade treaties and unfair trade laws. We are doomed. Regardles how much you or do not like the others politics. So go ahead and show off your intelect. We may be talking about the same thing.

One more thing, Clinton signed the first free trade bill. Not Obama, there is where your job woes come from. Something McCain stated we have to expand our free trade agreement. Palin is right there with him. So when you get serious and show your tea party supports some one interested in getting jobs back here, I got no use for it, and you I am afraid have been brain washed. I hope people wake up and put pressure on these people to quit out sourcing our jobs. We need Ross Perot. He made the statement 17 years ago, if the trade agreement is passed there will be a giant sucking sound, that will be our jobs being sucked out of the USA. Just do your home work. If you are truly unemployeed, there may still be hope for you. See you still have internet, your not broke, see you evedently are not dealing with a devistating disability, like cancer, or you would be glad for any help you could get like many more Americans who are dealing with it, with no help or hope.

Thank you I thought that Tea party stood for right wing nut job who wants to fly plane into building and kill people.
Really? When did somebody who was known to associate w/the Tea Party do this?
Do most Tea Partiers leave lengthy online screeds against the Catholic Church and Bush before undertaking their no doubt innumerable terrorist acts?
Let’s see….the Pentagon shooter was a registered Dem, one of the ‘militia’ guys they arested in the midwest was a Registered Dem…….but HEY! OMG! The REAL threat is those craaaaaazy right-wingers!!!
Nothing to see in Washington….nothing but 15 months of flawless governance from the 0bama Administration……let’s focus all our energy on into working ourselves into an indignant, frothing ragre over other Americans excercising their 1st amendment rights!!

Just wondering if any of these genius spammers have actually been to a Tea party protest. They don’t need to go because MSNBC will tell them what to think just like MSNBC will fabricate some racist quote or incident against anybody to the right of Evo morales as a means of deflecting attention away from the inevitable hard questions being asked about this healthcare turd that was recently passed into law….

This Tea Party sure has brought an old saying back to life….Best to keep your mouth shut and let people think your a fool, than open it and prove them right. Why is it so hard for some of you people to face facts, or are you use to living in denial. People are just fed up with big government and those’s that lie, cheat, run sex rings, fraud, crimes, at the tax payers expense and not representing what the people. The media will never paint the true picture, they have to cater to big business and the lobbyist. This Democratic party accussed the Tea Partiers of racial slurs, I was there, a white male holding an anti-war sign, yelled out “Uncle Tom” then ran away. I looked at a DC cop standing near and said where did that come from. He laughed and said, maybe he is looking for HIS Uncle Tom,in this large crowd. Then they said the man that spit on someone was assisted, according to the DC police we asked, NO ONE WAS ARRESTED. The media is like many politians, in it for the money and to keep their jobs. Do they really think when its pay back time, just like Obama did for votes on the health care, they have a chance. HELLO…to many lobbyist and others ranking in the government will get it first and whats left, may not be enought to buy a loaf of bread. The media can’t even get the numbers right on the number of people attending these rallies and marches….so whose greasing who. Let me know what you tell your grandkids about what you did for America.if you can face them.
