What a sad state of affairs. The Democrats’ policies are so destructive and unpopular they have to resort to recruiting operatives to pose as Tea Party racists to undermine the efforts of millions of average Americans. None of the racist smears have worked so far. Americans familiar with the Tea Party movement generally approve of it. In short, the progressives and the democrats are desperate.
New Hampshire Now: New Hampshire Democrats are engaged in a statewide search for liberal activists willing to attend so-called tea parties on Thursday and carry signs expressing racist or fringe sentiments, a Democratic source with knowledge of the effort tells NowHampshire.com.
According to the source, who sought anonymity for fear of reprisals, the Dems’ last minute scramble reflects a growing obsession among party leaders that they need to discredit the tea party movement soon or it will overwhelm them come the November election.
Former Democratic State Party Chairman Kathy Sullivan is heading up the search, the source said. Sullivan has been calling and e-mailing liberal activists trying to get them to attend tea parties in different parts of the state and hold signs denying the authenticity of President Barack Obama’s birth certificate and make racially disparaging comments to reporters.
“This is Kathy’s [Sullivan] project,” the source told NowHampshire.com. “She is absolutely obsessed with painting the tea party people as racists.”
Similar “crash the tea party” efforts are taking place throughout the country on Tax Day.
Follow the link above for the full story. This isn’t Sullivan’s first attempt at painting Tea Partiers as racist. What a sick woman.

This just in:
New Hampshire Republicans are engaged in a statewide search for conservative activists willing to invent blog posts about fictions scandals involving the democrats attending so-called tea parties on Thursday and carry signs expressing racist or fringe sentiments, a Republican source with knowledge of the effort tells “ReliableNewsSource”.com.
According to the source, who sought anonymity for fear of reprisals, the Repubs’ last minute scramble reflects a growing obsession among party leaders that they need to discredit the Obama administration soon or it will overwhelm them with socialist commandos and a newly built Deathstar that is currently nearing construction(the original was destroyed by George Bush in an X wing fighter, after which he flew to the USS Abraham Lincoln, gave his famous “Mission Accomplished” speech, and received a medal from Princess Leia along with his sidekicks Dick Cheney and Chewbaca).
Former New Hampshire Governor and current Republican State Party Chairman John H. Sununu is heading up the search, the source said. Sununu has been calling and e-mailing conservative activists trying to get them to make up stories about liberals attending tea parties in different parts of the state and holding signs denying the authenticity of President Barack Obama’s birth certificate and make racially disparaging comments to reporters.
“This is John’s [Sununu] project,” the source told “ReliableNewsSource”.com. “He is absolutely obsessed with promoting conspiracy theories and trying to conceal the fact that many people in the tea party really are racist.”
Similar “make up stories about people crashing the tea party” efforts are taking place throughout the country on the day after Tax Day.

OH right… this is not the first time Sullivan and Buckley have done these things. On March 31 they embarrassed themselves with some bogus press release they concocted that turned out to be not true. They are so obsessed with smearing the tea party as racist, they are willing to make up stuff.

The article you’ve given as support for your claim is from “nhteapartycoalition.org” so it can’t be considered an objective source. Further, the article itself is based on exactly the same “nowhampshire.com” article that this lonelyconservative blog post is quoting. Finally, the article you pasted doesn’t mention anything about a bogus press release on March 31.
So let me get this straight:
1) Lonely Conservative posts an excerpt from NowHampshire.
2) I post a satirical response because I think the article is a little ridiculous.
3) You tell me I’m wrong… by simply linking me to the exact same article I was mocking in the first place?
Listen, I think this whole thing is a joke. On both sides. Those in opposition to the tea party movement are so against their cause that they ignore the fact that the movement has some members with legitimate complaints. On the other hand, the tea party movement is so enraptured with it’s own ideology and it’s “us versus them” mentality, that it refuses to acknowledge that fact that there ARE a lot of ignorant (and yes, sometimes bigoted) people within their ranks.
Of course it’s fully possible that this Kathy Sullivan woman is attempting to de-legitimize the movement through these tactics. However, while acknowledging that, I can still understand that the majority of bigots at tea parties probably are not liberals posing as racists, but actual racists supporting the movement.
If the tea party movement would simply recognize that the reality that there are ignorant, racist people that attend their rallies, and subsequently make an effort to condemn these people while re-affirming the movement’s stated intentions, everyone would see the Tea Parties as much more legitimate.
Instead, the tea party denies that any of its members are racist, and blames the characterization entirely on the Democrats. Not smart. Everyone sees through it.
