What a moron. Alan Colmes was talking to Megyn Kelly about Attorney General Eric Holder’s fear of blaming terrorism on radical Islam. He said the reason Holder would rather stick something in his eye than say “radical Islam” is that there is no such thing as radical Islam.
Idiots like Alan Colmes walk among us. They vote. They have jobs that influence the way people think. How scary.

Technically, if the whole religion is radical then Alan is correct.
Alan is both correct and a shill for the left.

Interesting……I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if this was espoused by husky, pony-tailed Charles Johnson, since apparenly he and Colmes are BFF’s now.
I wear my banshment from Johnson’s blog as a badge of honor.

How about a camping trip to the Pakistan border area?
That ought to school him… if they don’t chop his head off

What a moron. I had to stop watching Hannity & Colmes ages ago because of arguments like that from Alan Colmes. I don’t mind an intelligent person making the—DUH—obvious point that not all Muslims are terrorists; but to actually voice that there is “no such thing as radical [fundamental] Islam” is worse than stupidity. He’s just flat denying reality, pretending something doesn’t exist because it scares him and he feels the need to cloak it in some benevolent, leftist language.
Got news for him: in the Islamic tradition, it is perfectly acceptable to cut off your own 9 year old daughter’s head because she was gang raped by 6 strange men and you weren’t man enough to protect her and now you’re EMBARRASSED.
GEE, ALAN, PRETTY FRICKIN’ RADICAL FROM A FEMININE POINT OF VIEW.
I just want people like him to get out of the way, maybe move to Venezuela, so we can handle the problem.

When Colmes said “there is no such thing as radical Islam. It is not Islam, it is not part of the religion” he should have been asked “How do you know?”. And if he had replied “Because I have spoken to Muslims and they tell me so”, the next question should have been “How do you know they are true Muslims and the terrorists are not?”, and he would have had no answer unless he started quoting the Koran and Haddith. And if he had done that you could nail him on the doctrine of abrogation and the verse of the sword.
As to why it was important for the congressman to elicit the word “Islam”? It was important because the true enemy is Islam, the religion itself. It declares itself to be our enemy and has been so since 622 A.D.

He is not saying that there aren’t people who use a extremes and go by the Flag of Islam.
But to say that there is thing as Radical Islam is to use this wording as a way to make people think that there is a legitmage school of thought in Islam which is “radical”. Which is incorrect.
Once those so called Muslims start kiling innocents, what they are doing is no longer part of the Religion of Islam, that is why Colmes is saying there is no radical islam, just radicals.

Wrong.
Islam isn’t about peace (unless you mean the whole world being islam, and there’s nothing left to fight, of course). Read the Koran in the correct order (Mecca verses first, Medina verses after). You’ll see a level of intolerance in the beginning, and all out hatred of all that is not islam near and at the end.
Abrogation is for real… “None of Our revelations do we abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but we substitute something better or similar: knowest thou not that Allah Hath power over all things?” (Koran 2:106)
Read it for yourself if you don’t believe me. There is no peace in islam (not the way we know it anyways).
My whole comment will probably be deleted because Political Correctness won’t have it. Criticizing islam is not hate speech… The Koran IS hate speech (look for yourselves), and yes… I dare say it, a thousand times more hateful than Mein Kampf.
