If you’re looking for a job, it looks like you’ll have some extra competition as the “missing workers” re-start their job hunts. I wonder how many of them thought they could receive unemployment benefits until it ran out before they started looking for work.
The Hill: Unemployment is likely to surge above 10 percent during the next few months as millions of “missing” workers return to the labor market.
This will pose a huge challenge for the Obama administration and congressional Democrats, who want to run in 2010 on the back of a strengthening economy.
Economist Mark Zandi expects the unemployment rate to float above 10 percent during the next few months as workers look to take advantage of improving opportunities.
“The increase in unemployment is a sign of a stronger job market, but it is also a sign of how weak the job market still is and vulnerable the recovery is to anything that might go wrong,” Zandi wrote in an e-mail to The Hill.
These Democrats are delusional if they think they can run on the economy! The national debt is skyrocketing and most Americans know the bill will soon come due, especially when factoring in the trillion dollar price tag for Obamacare. Just wait until they pass cap and tax. People will be longing for ten percent unemployment. Not to mention that the real unemployment rate has been well above ten percent for months.

There are plenty of people who want to work and are making their voices heard on http://www.inafj.org and on facebook. These are people who are both Democrat and Republican and just want to work. They are the people that Obama’s laser like focus on Wall Street has left behind.
