Some St. Louis tea partiers showed up at Busch Stadium when the St. Louis Cardinals took on the Arizona Diamondbacks. They wanted to show their support for Arizona and the state’s new immigration law. Tony LaRussa, the Cardinals manager, welcomed the tea partiers, saying we’re all entitled to our opinion in America. He also said he supports the Arizona law. Oddly, he didn’t disparage anyone who may disagree with him. How refreshing!

I wrote about this too from a Chicago and St Louis fan perspective, more and more people feeling comfortable speaking their true feelings despite the threats from the left. Same thing with Obama. Mine’s an interview with LaRussa. I’ll link to this one now

“I’m mad as hell and I’m not taking it anymore”. Was Tony talking about the irresponsible leftist suppression of Arizona’s seeking to enforce the rule of law, or lousy umpire calls? His outspoken comments on the umps ignited the team. Perhaps he can do the same for the Tea Party.
