According to Tingles, Hillary and Bill Clinton are all about public service and they don’t care about making money. The Gore’s don’t have that shared bond and Al’s “kind of wistful.”
What universe is he living in? The Clinton’s are all about power and self-promotion. And they’re hardly paupers. As for the Gore’s, who knows why their splitting up? Tipper’s probably tired of all the bloviating. But really, who even cares?

I think the only reason Chris Matthews is still employed is for the entertainment value. He’s so ridiculous it’s hard not to get a kick out of the guy.
