White House Officials Meet Lobbyists At Coffee Shops To Avoid Disclosure

By Lonely Conservative

You didn’t really think this administration was transparent, or ethical, did you?

Daily Caller: Here at the Caribou on Pennsylvania Avenue, and a few other nearby coffee shops, White House officials have met hundreds of times over the last 18 months with prominent K Street lobbyists — members of the same industry that President Obama has derided for what he calls its “outsized influence” in the capital.

On the agenda over espressos and lattes, according to more than a dozen lobbyists and political operatives who have taken part in the sessions, have been front-burner issues like Wall Street regulation, health care rules, federal stimulus money, energy policy and climate control — and their impact on the lobbyists’ corporate clients.

Because the meetings take place at coffee shops they don’t need to be disclosed by the White House.

Didn’t the FBI just arrest a bunch of Ruski agents for this kind of activity?

  2. So it really has nothing to do with Obama needing to get away from the healthy food Michelle has wrought on everyone – Rush suggested he had to eat “bamboo,” – but it is another scam on the American people.

When he goes out to a hamburger joint, you can bet they always comp his meal.

Every move this president makes is a scam on freedom loving Americans. I am weary of being furious.

I can remember when the goobers of this country thought that the Grant and Harding administrations were corrupt. This gang could give those pikers lessons in dishonesty. Even Clinton is beginning to look almost honest by comparison.

    Talk about bourgois.

Sipping latte’s, talking policy and making deals.

Just make sure the Prols don’t get wind of it.

I wonder if they get to declare mileage.
