Mother of three and American Idol contestant Krista Branch appeared on Fox and Friends this morning to sing “I Am America.” She was fed up with politics, and after Nancy Pelosi called the Tea Parties “Astroturf” she and her husband wrote this song. It’s now a Tea Party favorite, for good reason!
Pay no attention to the people in the street
Crying out for accountability
Make a joke of what we believe
Say we don’t matter ’cause you disagree
Pretend you’re kings, sit on your throne
Look down your nose at the peasants below
I’ve got some news, we’re taking names
We’re waiting now for the judgment dayI am America, one voice, united we stand
I am America, one hope to heal our landThere is still work that must be done
I will not rest until we’ve won
The lyrics to the entire song can be found here.

That is excellent! Thanks for posting it. Of course, she is now a racist too.

Hubby tells me Krista is from the Tulsa area, the town of Bixby which is bedroom community right next to my neighborhood. I had to miss the Fox and Friends this morning so am glad to see it here.
Dana Perino was so good on Greta and I see she is sitting in for Gretchen. I have always really liked Dana.
