Arizona Governor Jan Brewer isn’t happy about the vindictive administration‘s report to the UN Human Rights Council. The report singled out Arizona’s immigration law as some sort of human rights violation. In a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Brewer demanded that they withdraw the report, calling it “downright offensive.”
“The idea of our own American government submitting the duly enacted laws of a state of the United States to ‘review’ by the United Nations is internationalism run amok and unconstitutional,” Brewer wrote.
The UN Human Rights Council is a bit of a joke, since it includes Cuba, Saudi Arabia and China.
It’s unlikely that the report will be withdrawn, but it should. Good for Brewer for standing up for the people of her state to this thuggish administration.

The Pirate’s Cove linked – thanks!

Do the Feds think we’re STUPID?
The AZ law MIRRORS the Fed law with MORE restrictions.
It it SPECIFIC about NOT racially profiling.
Since when do the Feds have to option which laws they get to enforce or not?
I think some lawsuits against the Feds are in order.
Oh yeah…….. We need to get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US.

And callers to cspan say that Glenn Beck is “divisive”. This baloney of pretending that the UN runs the world – at the initiative of this administration – well, that is divisive in the extreem, and Beck is absolutely right to point it out.

America as I have known and loved her is dead the day the President of this country reports a State to any international body.
The Federal government does not exist to bully the states around, and Team Obama would be advised to remember that. They are so loathsome I can’t even comment here, it would require profanity.
