The socialists are getting restless. The One hasn’t completed the fundamental transformation of America, and they don’t like it.
There’s a big socialist march scheduled this weekend in Washington, DC. It’s astroturf all the way, with unions and the NAACP providing free bus rides and even free food to get people to the rally. (I wonder how much of the funding comes from us, the taxpayer.) Even Obama’s Organizing for America and some liberal churches are getting in on the action. (No matter how many people show up, expect the media to inflate the numbers.)
These people hate the tea party movement – it’s a threat to their existence, or at least their subsistence. They aren’t about to go down without a fight. AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka led a panel discussion with folks from the Nation, the New York Times and the Center for American Progress. Trumka accused tea partiers and Fox News of fomenting anger and hatred, and said they need to channel that anger and help the confused see the light.
We have to offer working people something other than the dead-end choice between the failed agenda of greed and the voices of hate and division and violence.

we need to fundamentally restructure our economy and re-establish popular control over the private corporations which have distorted our economy and hijacked our government. That’s a long-term job, but one we should start now.
Popular control over private corporations, gee what could go wrong? Doesn’t that sound a bit like nationalization?
I wonder if President Obama will give a little pep talk, like this one, to rally the troops.
When he tells people to “get out there and do everything that you can,” does he mean he wants them doing stuff like this:
The revelations and arrest of a SEIU member in Washington state for forging signatures on a ballot initiative to raise taxes, the Wisconsin SEIU activist who bragged about the media’s complicity in helping to defeat GOP gubernatorial candidate Scott Walker, as well as the revelations of what appears to be an unbelievably large amount of voter registration fraud in Texas, all must have Democrats feeling a little queasy about being seen too close to the President and his fuscha friends.

Obviously, these union goons and socialists all support Democrats. Do you think your own Democrat Congressman isn’t supported by them? You may want to think again. A quick search shows me that two SEIU locals endorsed Dan Maffei (NY25) – here and here. The statewide AFL-CIO also endorsed him. Obviously, they believe Dan Maffei is the best person to help advance their socialist, taxpayer mugging agenda. In other local races they endorsed Bill Owens, Scott Murphy, Michael Arcuri, Louise Slaughter, and of course, Maurice Hinchey – all Democrats.

Anyone watch Stossel’s interview with the UNION Leader of the Transit Workers the other night?
Their workers miss on average 64 days a year. PAID.
The private firms in the city train the drivers and then as soon as they can they get hired by the city TWA Union to drive buses for the city.
The cost to the city is astronomical. It is bankrupting the city. They also get to retire at 55 with a pension that was out of this world.
All because, according to the 300lb gorrilla who was running the union…literally this guy was the typical Mafia thug, 300 lb goon. According to him its dangerous working for the TWA thats why they get to retire early and take 64 days a year off with pay.
Why is it so dangerous? Stossel asks.
Some of his drivers get spit on. American Socialism at work. GREECE at work. Unions are so powerful that they literally bankrupt every entity they come in contact with.
Years ago I was visiting a plant that made retread tires and repaired wheels and brakes for aircraft. They were doing work for our company plane. I was visiting with the shop foreman when the union showed up. The teamsters. I found it so cliche to see the union Leader drive up to the place of business in three cadillacs and literally every man getting out of the cars were 300 lbs and all wearing 1000 dollar silk suits.
From that day forward. Everywhere I look the Mafia, cadillac driving 300lb gorrillas are not cliche for unions. They are the norm. Its intimidation. Pure and simple.
No different then the communist/socialists called Progressives. Intimidate their way to power.
