Here’s video of AFL-CIO boss Richard Trumka gloating about how Pelosi “drove it down Republicans throats and it came out their backsides.” Ed Morrissey points out that when it comes to Obamacare we sure did get what comes out of backsides.
What bothers me most about this sort of thing is that everyone knew how wildly unpopular the bill was when they “drove it down our throats.” So it isn’t just Republicans Trumka was mocking, it was all of us. You know, the ones who aren’t part of the elite ruling class.
By the way, when was it that violent thugs became part of the ruling class?
