Democrats are freaking out. They know what’s coming this fall, when they receive their well deserved pink slips from the voters.
CBS News: With many polls indicating the Republicans may win back control of the House of Representatives (and possibly the Senate as well) in the upcoming mid-term elections, Jim VandeHei, the executive editor of Politico, told CBS’ “Face the Nation” that the Obama administration is in a horrible position.
“Does the White House understand this?” asked guest host Harry Smith. “Do you feel any sense of panic or concern” on the part of the administration?
“They get it. There’s panic. There’s concern,” VandeHei said. “The reality for this administration stinks, politically and practically, when it comes to the economy. You’re not going to be able to change that 9.6-percent unemployment figure. You can’t get anything from Congress in the next couple of months.”
Let’s hope they don’t get anything from Congress between now and January. Democrats, who made their own beds, are blaming Obama for their predicament.
CBS Congressional correspondent Nancy Cordes said the Democrats are distancing themselves from President Obama.
“Not only are they running away from President Obama, they’re running away from being Democrats in some cases. In some races you actually see the Democratic candidates not really mentioning that they’re a Democrat in their campaign ads,” Cordes said.
Smith asked his guests to try to identify the source of the discontent: “From your experience on the Hill, have you heard any Democrats in private conversations say, ‘You know what? We went down the wrong road. We went after health care. We went after so many other things on the Obama agenda as opposed to, in the end of the day, it’s all about creating jobs?’”
“Not only have we heard that, but we’ve been hearing it for months,” said Cordes. “We heard it during the health care debate that dragged on for a year when the economy was so bad; they focused on health care and they focused on financial regulation.
They should have thought of that before ramming so much horrid legislation down our throats! Why didn’t they vote “no” on health care and financial regulation if they had such a problem with it?
They have nothing to run on. The economy stinks. Obamacare stinks. The debt they’re running up stinks. The massive financial regulation bill stinks. Taking over industries stinks. Everything they’ve done stinks. So they’ll keep blaming Bush, and pointing fingers at people like Rush Limbaugh. That’s all they’ve got.

And the Democrats created Obama. And Obama said to the assembled Democrats, “Follow Me!” And so the Democrats did. No Democrat has been seen since. [The Book of Progressives 99:9]

Dear Leader says: “The economy is going in the right direction. We just have to speed it up”. Yeah, right. So I guess when these government employees get their pink slip from the voters, they shouldn’t have a problem finding jobs. Heh, I love the irony and especially the just deserts.

First to go will be the Blue Dogs- they more or less signed their own death warrant before the ink on 0bamacare was dry.
This will suit Obama just fine, as it culls the Democrats who wish to remain arms-length from him.
There’s talk of a ‘Firewall’….the Dems cutting their losses with Congresscritters or Senators from more moderate and competitive districts and shoring up support for the ones in for the fight of their lives. Imagine being sold a bill of goods on how popular you’d be after signing off on 0bamacare or Cap & Trade only to get cut loose as Dems everywhere are running from that, Biden, Pelosi and Commander Hopenchange from the 1st magical Airborne Unicorn Brigade- reporting for duty after ‘Recovery Summer’….

Guess all the lap dogs should have thought of that when they were rubber stamping everything Obama wanted, and were giving him standing ovations and patting themselves on the back. The best part will be the GOP controlled Congress won’t give them unemployment extensions for life.

“”"“Not only are they running away from President Obama, they’re running away from being Democrats in some cases.”"”
UNTIL……..
They are reelected and hold onto the House and Senate……..then they will flock back to the feet of Nanny Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barak Obama and continue to pass more legislation and REGULATION…….that a VAST majority of Americans hate.
In their minds they will believe they are doing what Americans want not even stopping to consider that they live in GERRYMANDERED districts that would ELECT ATTILA The HUN if he had a (D) behind his name.
Do not be fooled Americans. The Democrats are only running for now….until you reelect them…then they will be right back doing the same deceitful BS they did the last 2 years.
