Heh! Global Warming Alarmists are Down With Outlawing Water!

This is hysterical. I love these CFACT kids! They went down to the climate change conference in Cancun and convinced the global warming alarmists to sign fake petitions to take down the United States economy and outlaw water! In all fairness, I’m sure many of the global warming alarmists are fine with destroying the US economy. In fact, it’s one of their goals. But banning water? Aren’t they supposed to the the “smart” ones? Heh!

This year, CFACT students created two mock-petitions to test U.N. Delegates. The first asked participants to help destabilize the United States economy, the second to ban water.

The first project, entitled “Petition to Set a Global Standard” sought to isolate and punish the United States of America for defying the international community, by refusing to bite, hook, line and sinker on the bait that is the Kyoto Protocol. The petition went so far as to encourage the United Nations to impose tariffs and trade restrictions on the U.S. in a scheme to destabilize the nation’s economy. Specifically, the scheme seeks to lower the U.S. GDP by 6% over a ten year period, unless the U.S. signs a U.N. treaty on global warming.

This would be an extremely radical move by the United Nations. Even so, radical left-wing environmentalists from around the world scrambled eagerly to sign.

The second project was as successful as the first. It was euphemistically entitled “Petition to Ban the Use of Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO)” (translation water). It was designed to show that if official U.N. delegates could be duped by college students into banning water, that they could essentially fall for anything, including pseudo-scientific studies which claim to show that global warming is man-caused.

Watch the video:

Seriously, how can anyone trust these people to craft environmental policy? I wouldn’t even want them balancing my check book.

They did ban water in California’s Central Valley to protect the delta smelt. We can’t get low enough to figure out how low these people can go. So cute, all of them with their little backpacks, drinking out of paper and plastic cups.

There are two driving forces behind the radical environmentalists.

Lets forget most of them are communist for a moment.

    1. They believe that excess is bad…that the collective suffers when the minority…..(USA and to a lessor extent Western Europe, Japan and Korea)….indulge in consumption excesses.

    2. They believe the world is in peril by the excesses of consumption and population explosion which is leading to the migration of poor peoples to Western Europe and America.

These two driving forces drive their desire to punish EXCESSES by cutting GDP growth and hence consumption. However without the subsequent transfer of wealth to poor countries to be able to develop an economy that stablizes their nation it is all moot.

Studies show that developing nations do not migrate but rather they create jobs and this stablizes not only their population birth rates but the people do not leave that country to go to another country to find work.

Hence…..no more immigration to western Europe and the United States which is inundating the continent with Muslims and people of race, which the politically correct socialist/communists cannot admit is a problem therefore they must find other ways to stop this influx without profiling or being politically incorrect.

Hence the AGW movement is not a bad movement in and of itself, but the problem with the movement is that its foundational principals are deception and its goals are being attained thru lies and misdirection and that is why its being so hard countered by most of the world who have a clue.

All you have to know is that the leader of this laundrymat is from that paragon of fiscal and economic excellence known as Zimbabwe. Need more proof that the animals are running the zoo?

Those gathering petitions are far better dressed than the nimrods who agree that water should be banned.
