As if we needed any more proof that the former junior Senator from Illinois (he makes us SO proud!) doesn’t belong in the White House, yesterday, CIA Director Leon Panetta told the Senate Committee on Intelligence that if Bin Laden was captured, Guantanamo Bay would be the best place to keep him. In an article on thehill.com, Panetta is quoted as saying:
“The process would obviously involve, especially with the two targets that you just described — we would probably move them quickly into military jurisdiction at Bagram [an air base in Afghanistan] for questioning and then eventually move them probably to Guantánamo.”
Too bad he doesn’t share these points with the President. Then again, maybe he does, but they wouldn’t fit in with Obama’s International Apology Theme. How could his far left base keep hating America if Gitmo was actually a legitimate use of authority and helped keep us safe? To play both sides of the filed, Obama prefers to act high and mighty while using a loophole to outsource high-value detainees to other countries like Pakistan, so they could use “enhanced interrogation techniques” on them instead of us. And I’m pretty sure in the Middle East, that doesn’t mean water-boarding! How can he think that this hypocrisy – that we can use others to do our dirty work for us – doesn’t inspire the terrorists more than Gitmo, where they have physicians on duty during oh-so-severe interrogation techniques like sleep deprivation and playing loud music? Not to mention our tax-dollars funding I-pods and Korans for the detainees. Now I understand the cruelty – we should have at least supplied them with I-pod Nanos!
Can we actually survive two more years of this administration?

Good point! I often think about that whenever there are rumors of Hillary challenging Obama in 2012. Who would be more dangerous? An inept Socialist, or a conniving yet clever supposedly-centrist Dem?

My favorite part of the article is when it says “President Obama ordered the Guantánamo Bay prison closed in 2009 after the facility was criticized for violating prisoners’ human rights”. Yet, if any of us or our soldiers are captured by terrorists or rogue governments, they will beat and torture (and possibly kill) us FAR worse that we have ever been accused of. It amazes me how illegals and terrorists get into US custody and they all of a sudden have “American” rights. Yet, we go anywhere else in the world and that goes out the window. Just my opinion.

What planet are these ‘folks’ from? ( that’s black speak,the way barry likes it).Inept and dangerous doesn’t begin to describe this administration. At least the aclu and planned genocide agree-it’s a woman’s right to commit murder and then become a social worker to help ‘the children’ (of others ,of course).Do not send your children to a public school-they would get a better education in North Korea.
