This video was posted at Bizzy Blog in September of 2009, but it’s still notable. It was a rally that occurred on 9/12/01 in Oakland, but it was not about mourning the victims of the terrorist hijackers. These people were celebrating them! Van Jones appears at about the 3:58 mark.
- “It’s the bombs that the government has been dropping around the world that are now blowing up inside the U.S. borders.”
- “We’ve got something stronger than bombs, we have solidarity. That dream of revolutionary change is stronger than bombs.”
Don’t tell me the people at the White House didn’t know about this when Obama hired him.

Oh yeah, and Big Government reminds us that Van Jones is now a front page start at HuffPo. (But Andrew Breitbart isn’t allowed on the front page because of an “ad-hominem” attack on Jones at another site.)
