I appreciate Donald Trump’s criticism of President Obama, but can we please stop pretending that he’s a Republican? What kind of Republican donates $50,000 to Rahm Emanuel, for crying out loud? Rahm Emanuel was by Obama’s side the whole time he was enacting his miserable policies, and Donald Trump wrote him a check for $50,000 during his run for mayor of Chicago. Emanuel’s not the only Democrat Trump gave money to, either.
The real estate mogul and “Celebrity Apprentice” host has made more than $1.3 million in donations over the years to candidates nationwide, with 54 percent of the money going to Democrats, according to a Washington Post analysis of state and federal disclosure records.
Recipients include Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (Nev.), former Pennsylvania governor Edward G. Rendell, and Rahm Emanuel, a former aide to President Obama who received $50,000 from Trump during his recent run to become Chicago’s mayor, records show. Many of the contributions have been concentrated in New York, Florida and other states where Trump has substantial real estate and casino interests.
He’s also given plenty to Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Chuck Schumer, and he’s done so recently.
I have a nagging feeling that Trump’s going to screw up the 2012 election and see to it that Obama gets another four years to screw up this country. If that happens, we’re doomed.

I was listening to Levin last nite going on about Trump, and then he takes a call from a nut who says we need zero taxes and end unemployment assistance – and Levin says he agrees. I guess this is why they call it “silly season”. This morning cspan has a guy who says that people demand more services. Why doesn’t he tell the truth and say that the loony left in the NEA has a laundry list of “demands” and it is THEY, and not ‘the people’, who are demanding more and more from government. But, you see, that would be telling. The fact is, Democrats decide who they will listen to – which wheel squeaks the loudest at democrats.
what we really need to be doing is identifying the policies that screw americans and who is pushing those policies – because they will be pushing regardless of who is elected. They will be strategizing and raising money and coordinating with their pals in the media and all that. One thing Levin is right about is that the loony environmentalists have everything tied up in knots. Some people have entirely too much power, and they need to be defanged. Hoffmeister says that if we increase oil production so we import only 50 percent rather than 66, that would yield 20 billion instead of the 4 billion obama wants thru his ‘policy’. Obama is just looking for Kulaks to persecute. They ought to be drilling off California to reduce the seeps.

Even talking about Trump is a complete waste of time. You might as well nominate Bloomburg. He’s simply not electable. Ditto Romney. Why not take a closer look at Mitch Daniels?
