What a talented and knowledgeable woman HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is. She not only knows what is best for the American people in regards to their healthcare, apparently she also has expertise in the area of small business development. Considering that she has neither a medical background nor any experience in the private sector, that is quite an amazing accomplishment.
But such a minor detail as this has never before stopped a high ranking intellectual elitist in the Obama administration from opining on things they actually know nothing of. So, lets just see what small business expert Kathleen Sebelius thinks is a reasonable way to encourage growth.
From CNSnews.com:
A provision in President Barack Obama’s health-care law that requires small businesses to begin buying health insurance for their workers when they hire their 50th employee–or otherwise pay a penalty to the federal government–”will actually be a great incentive” for businesses to grow, stated Sebelius.
Brilliant. Either saddle small businesses with more unreasonable costs and regulations or hit them with a stiff penalty. Seems like a very reasonable way to “incentivize” growth to me.
With her obvious ability to produce such keen insight, one can only hope she next decides to offer her expert advice to Obama’s re-election committee.

Oh, that will help. Especially after Excellus raises their rates. They say rates will increase further in 2014 after OCare becomes fully operative.
