This news item is from yesterday (sorry, I’m a bit behind) but it’s worth noting. Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) confirmed to Talking Points Memo that the folks in the Obama administration are considering simply ignoring the debt ceiling. Meaning they’ll just keep racking up more debt and Congress be damned.

Considering the ease with which Obama has violated bankruptcy law, refused to enforce voter fraud laws, and ignored the War Powers Act, what is stopping him from ignoring the debt ceiling.
President Obama released yet another video address scolding Republicans for not raising taxes on private jet owners and other rich folks. Why’s he wasting his breath if he’s just planning to skirt Congress?
