Al Gore Wants You to Stop Eating Meat

Moonbat alert! Al Gore wants you to stop eating meat to save the earth or something. These people are so tiresome. He probably eats Wagyu beef.

“Industrial agriculture is a part of the problem,” Gore said Friday during an interview with FearLess Revolution founder Alex Bogusky. “The shift toward a more meat-intensive diet,” the clearing of forest areas in many parts of the world in order to raise more cattle and the reliance on synthetic nitrogen for fertilizer are also problems, he added.
Instead, Gore advocated organic farming and relying on “more productive, safer methods that put carbon back in the soil” to produce “safer and better food.”
In addition to big farms, Gore took a shot at the mining industry, calling mountaintop-removal mining a “horrible practice” that is “just incredibly harmful to the environment and to people.”
The former vice president also criticized climate change skeptics, urging those who support curbs to greenhouse gases to “win the conversation” when it comes to global warming. (Read More)

I wonder how much carbon wouldn’t be spewed into the atmosphere if Gore kept his trap shut, stopped flying on private jets and gave up a mansion or two.

People like Al Gore want to dictate what you eat, what kind of light bulbs illuminate your home, what you drive and even what you wipe your butt with. All the while they find a way to profit off of their scare-mongering. How disgusting!

There’s pros and cons on both sides.
A lot of our farming practices relies on (the synthetic fertilizer) Phosphorus, which is made relies on Helium to be made. Big problem? Helium is going to be in short supply, very very soon. Some predict 2035. That means Phosphorus is going to shoot up in price. Organic farming doesn’t use synthetic fertilizers, so more of it will lengthen our supply.
A big downer? It’s proven (time and time again), that organic farming can NOT support the worlds population. A lot of our food doesn’t even go to Americans. A lot of it goes to other countries via trading. If Al Gore got his way, and everyone switched to Organic farming, a huge portion of the world would starve!
A big plus for organic farming is it doesn’t use pesticide which has contaminated food (both animal and plant), and decimated everything from bugs, plants, to people. The worst part is the bugs. Some pesticides in the past, have massively killed pollinators like Bees, and Lady Buggs (the last being rather ironic since lady bugs are used as a form of pest control in the first place!)
A big down side for organic farming is that its a hell of a lot more susceptible to diseases and pests in general. Though natural remedies do wonders (like the aforementioned lady bug), some of our crops are not natural to its climate, and they require a lot of water, pesticides, and (unnatural) intervention to get them to grow. You just can’t “organically” farm some of these crops in places where they’re planted.
I think the biggest downside though, is what I said way up there; that organic farming does not have the throughput to achieve the worlds needs for food. There’s food shortages in the world as it is, due to droughts and the like. Imagine if we switched over to a more organic way of farming; it’d just murder certain countries. A lot of people will suffer.
This is why I hate Al Gore. He wants to switch to organic farming? It means he wants to be a mass murderer. Saying its “better for your health” is not much consolation to the families of the loved ones who die, because of his lack of foresight.

  The vast majority of the AGW militants are population control freaks.
  They know EXACTLY what they are doing and what they are doing is attempting to control population. As for Biden being okay with China’s one baby policy. He really is, then when that didnt play well he backtracked but the facts of the matter are that population is going to destroy this planet without vast technology.
  Technology is going to destroy this planet because it uses power. Power causes Global warming(SO THEY CLAIM).
  Hence.
  Do away with power. Does away with food production. Forces population control and diverts political power to (THEIR APPROVED ALLIES.)
  AGW is about population control and controlling power generation for the world. Pure and simple.
