First Lady Michelle decided she needed to squeeze in a few extra hours of vacation, so she and the girls took a separate jet to their vacation in Martha’s Vineyard, just hours ahead of the president. President Barack Obama’s much-maligned holiday vacation turned into an even bigger PR nightmare today as it emerged that he and his wife took separate government jets to Martha’s Vineyard just hours apart.
Michelle Obama was revealed to have arrived at the Massachusetts retreat, only 500 miles from Washington, four hours before her husband yesterday.
She was accompanied by their daughters Malia, 13, and Sasha, 10, and landed at around 2pm – four hours earlier than the President. …..
The costs related to Mrs Obama’s solo trip mainly include the flight on the specially designed military aircraft she took instead of Air Force One, as well as any extra staff and Secret Service that had to be enlisted to go with her.
She would also have had her own motorcade from the airport to her vacation residence.
The President had already drawn scorn for using two helicopters and Air Force One to get to Martha’s Vineyard. ….
The President arrived on this wealthy Massachusetts island retreat as the stock market plunged and a new poll showed just 11 per cent of Americans are happy with the way things are in the country.
He also drew fresh criticism from Sarah Palin for even going on the vacation while the country is in such a poor situation.
The President will be staying with his family at the Blue Heron Farm, a sprawling, $50,000-per-week estate with plenty of room for staff and Secret Service agents accompanying him on the trip.
The family are to spend 10 days in a rented compound.

It isn’t so much that they’re tone deaf, they just don’t care. They see themselves as part of the elite ruling class who deserve the best of things in life. This at the same time they vilify those who have worked hard, made wise investments and have earned enough wealth to afford such luxuries.

This just is another contemptuous behavior that undeniably proves the Obama’s have no regard or connection to normal citizens or our nation’s economic problems. A record number of folks are on government assistance programs as well. And it’s always real easy to spend using someone else’s credit card. If this were a Republican acting like this it would be on a 24/7 loop switching between shots of vacation frolicking and unemployment lines. I see this so often in working in forensic psychiatry. Sociopaths cannot care how things they do affect others. It is not part of their make-up.
The Obama’s cannot see or care about how many Americans are forced to live right now because there aren’t jobs. My husband, who has a BA degree, is working part-time making a little above minimum wage.
Somehow I don’t think Moochele had to get there early to start supper and throw in a load of laundry.
I also get the sense that this is not a good marriage, most couples/families would be excited about traveling together when going on vacation. It is more time to spend together and plan what they all want to do. Something is not right in many ways.

Why doesn’t anyone mention that Obama is one of the RICH people he keeps vilifying? He apparently spent OUR money on his bus ride, when he has millions and millions of dollars in his re-election campaign fund. And millions of his OWN dollars.
When President Bush went to Crawford or Maine or wherever, he stayed at places that he ALREADY OWNED. He didn’t spend OUR money renting $50,000+ compounds. He paid for the bus HE used out of campaign money – donated money, not stolen from the tax payers.
Obama is riding on his private planes all the time (not just Air Force One, but the ones his wife uses, too), at OUR expense, but he wants to tax people who have private planes that they have EARNED themselves! This man is so arrogant it makes me sick. And yet, he still has many people following him like sheep. Or should I say like turkeys.
I am afraid that if the Republicans don’t get themselves together and behind one GOOD candidate, Obama is going to get re-elected (look what happened with Clinton), and this poor country of ours may not be able to recover ever from his “reign.”
Obama has misused his role as President so badly that it is frightening. He is constantly making laws (EOs) that bypass Congress, and using his “Czars” that bypass Congress. And NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT! What is wrong here?

Someone should call him out on these things.Obama for sure acts as if the laws don’t apply to him. Yet no one really calls him out on these things. Anyone else would be held accountable. Maybe it’s cause every time we disaggree are say something that Obama does we are then called racist. That seems to be his ticket ot every time.
He has lied so much on issues that if someone else had done they again would be held accountable. But not this Obama he can cheat, lie, steal and not following the rules of the law. He can even make up his own laws and get by with it. But if we dare stand to confront we again are being racist. This is what the people that voted for him got and must have wanted. Thank God I did not vote for him and new I never would. This is how he too got elected is by cheating with votes. I remember I said right before it was announced he had won. When he was running and they were pretneding to be just average struggling people, they actually had a chef! I am greatly concerned about the 35 Czars and 25 aids to Michelle. Just what are they all up to? Are the aids just classified as aids as a front, but are really more of Obama’s One World Government workers doing their dirty work? I think we should all surround the White House and demand that Obama be place on Administrative Leave until January 20th 2013! I forgot to mention that is without pay.
