This is surprising. A new poll shows Obama has a negative approval rating in New York, of all places. Not to worry, though, the rich and famous still adore him and are willing to open their wallets to prove it. Some of them shelled out over $35,000 per person to schmooze with him before he jets off to Martha’s Vineyard.
The New York Post reported:
President Obama might need to start taking a few more campaign trips to New York — and not just to raise cash.
A stunning new survey gives the president a negative approval rating in the Empire State for the first time, with just 45 percent approval and 49 percent disapproval among voters, according to the latest Quinnipiac University poll.

November 2012 can’t come fast enough. But don’t think New York is likely to vote Republican, New Yorkers will vote for anyone with a D after his name, regardless of whether they approve of the person’s performance.

It’s a long campaign season. I wouldn’t put too much stock in any numbers right snow. Frankly, I would spend more time on the unAmerican GOP candidates who believe defaulting on the US debt is something to cheer about. That is where the news is, if you dare to discuss it.

I will. There was no danger of default; and there was no need for the hysteria. All you have to do is stop spending, tighten up your budget, and make good on your loans. Pretty easy thing for the Dems (who do have all the power) to do. Instead of scaring people on Medicare and asking for an even higher credit limit. Lots of overblown rhetoric to ramp you into class warfare was all that was. Should have cut a lot more. Us little people don’t get to raise our debt ceiling and request more credit and spend spend spend…neither does the U.S. government.
