‘We the People’ White House Website to Go Live

The White House announced that a new website called “We the People” allowing people to petition government will soon go live. All you have to do to sign up is give them your name and e-mail address. According to ABC News they say it’s to fulfill President Obama’s pledge to make the government more transparent. But perhaps there’s an ulterior motive.

The online petition program comes as Obama has been urging the public to press their representatives in Congress to act on his ideas for creating jobs and balancing the federal budget. …

I wonder if OFA and other left wing groups will team up to game the system.

It’s a shame this wasn’t up and running when they passed the stimulus or Obamacare. I’m sure they would have gotten an earful.

Update: From the Desk of Lady Liberty linked – thanks!

Sounds like another ploy to get us to move more towards a democracy and away from a republic. Ahhhh mob rule.
