Not much has changed with the Occupy movement that the Democrats and media love so much. It’s still as nasty, filthy and violent as ever.
A reporter from NRO was assaulted in Zuccotti Park. The police were very professional, but refused to go into the park to look for the assailant out of fear of causing a riot. Also in Zuccotti Park, yesterday a “raging lunatic” was given a beat down after trying to steal someone’s pills and cash.
The occupiers have decided to occupy the highway and march to Washington, DC to protest the Bush tax cuts and the Supercommittee. They may not receive a warm reception from DC police when they arrive.
In Portland they are suspected of a Molotov cocktail bombing of the World Trade Center Building and in St. Louis, they hacked the Mayor’s website. Things are even worse in Oakland where sales are down 50% for local businesses.
There’s good news out of Denver, though. They finally elected a leader – a dog.
Denver Mayor Michael Hancock insisted that his city’s occupation name a leader in order “to deal with City and State officials.” And he got his wish! Occupy Denver has elected Shelby, a border collie, as its leader. Long live Shelby!
Update: Hey, what do you know? The New York Times finally realized there’s a crime problem with OWS.
