Glenn Beck Says He Cannot Vote for Newt Gingrich

Not only did Glenn Beck tell Judge Andrew Napolitano that he can’t vote for Newt Gingrich, he said he’s the only Republican candidate he can’t vote for. He went on to explain how Newt is a progressive – he said to read his words and his record, that he’s no different than Obama. “He makes Mitt Romney look like a small government guy.” Beck explained that he’s not the biggest Romney fan, but he would be able to hold his nose and vote for him, so to speak.

Judge Napolitano also pointed out how if Newt is the GOP nominee, Obama will most likely win reelection. They also discussed Ron Paul and Rick Santorum.

Update: I didn’t mention the comment about being racist if you support Newt but oppose Obama because, well, it didn’t make any sense to me.

Update 2: Glenn Beck lost a lot of fans with that race card statement. See Poh Diaries.

  3. [...] I would rather have had at the top of the ticket should he win. But Beck is wrong. Newt Gingrich is no progressive. Yeah, he sat on a couch with Pelosi, but to essentially say that he’s no better than Barack [...]

Astonishing how some Tea Party types could claim to be the vanguard of limited Government when Newt Gringrich has not repudiate his stance on a Federal version of the Individual Mandate; even resorting to the Left-wing reasoning and analogy of how it’s ‘JUST’ like car insurance.

Newt’s record shows that he’s not a leader but a self-absorbed, self-professed conservative and petty authoritarian who is eager to rule Congress, not lead it.

I don’t know why Beck had to throw in that part about racism. Where did that come from. But he’s right when he says Newt is a progressive. I was liking Newt after some of the debates until I started remembering all of the things from his past he’d like us to forget. Dede Scozzafava, sitting on the couch with Pelosi, taking money from Freddie Mac, pushing for the Dept. of Education, his love of the Tofflers, and on and on and on.

What he indicated is that if you prefer Gingrich over Obama, it MUST be race; because he doesn’t feel there’s any difference in policy. I’m not supporting that statement — just telling you what he said.

Mitt Romney :”I think people recognize that I’m not a partisan Republican; that I’m someone who is moderate; and that my views are progressive,” he continued. “They’re going to vote for me regardless of the party label,” he added.
Where was Becks’ outrage over Romney? Beck is a fraud and his legacy will be that of a crying coward.

Sadly enough Glenn is becoming more like Ron Paul every day. He has turned into a bomb-thower at GOP front runners to draw attention to himself. I have problems with some of Newt’s “ideas”, but without question I would vote for him as opposed to not voting or voting for the marxist – muslim Obama. As far as I concerned, in a election between Newt and Obama, not voting or voting for Obama is an act of treason.

A bigger concern for me is a third party run by Ron Paul. That would ensure Obama’s reelection, because all the Paulbots would follow him right off the cliff.

Glenn has lost his mind. He gives up Fox where he could have made a difference for his pie in the sky self promoting internet “show”, if you can call it a show. The man is histerical. Newts record as speaker of the house speaks for itself, it is a very distinguished CONSERVATIVE record, not progressive. Progressives dont care about ballancing budgets. And Newt has also stated his intention to scrap Obamacare.

Ron Paul would be fine with me, but he is not going to be the Republican nominee. Just like when he left Fox, Glenn has issues facing reality. Newt isnt perfect, but he would be a giant step in the opposite direction of what we have now, and Glenn is doing more to promote Obama right now than any Liberal could hope to. I am done with Glenn Beck!
