This sounds somewhat strange coming from a collectivist who once told us that her husband was going to make us all work, allegedly for the greater good. It’s also odd coming from someone with a staff of 24 that everyone else pays for.

Me, I’ll put myself first just as soon as I’ve finished doing laundry, baking Christmas cookies, preparing our home for guests, making dinner and cleaning up the kitchen.
Update: I assume this interview was given before the First Lady decided to cost the taxpayers about $100,000 to begin her vacation without her husband. Then again, that’s not the first time she’s done this, so I guess she’s been at the top of her priorities list for quite some time.
