If there’s one politician who has no room to talk when it comes to transparency and releasing records, it’s President Obama. But that hasn’t stopped his campaign from demanding that Mitt Romney release his records. This would be funny if it weren’t so tragic that we elected this guy in the first place.
A spokesman for President Obama‘s re-election campaign blasted Mr. Romney and questioned whether he had something to hide in his finances.
“Why does Governor Romney feel like he can play by a different set of rules?” said Ben LaBolt, a spokesman for the Obama campaign. “What is it that he doesn’t want the American people to see? Governor Romney, who has favored secrecy over openness time after time, should live up to the same standard of disclosure his father and others set.”
Hypocrites!

Yet we know about a rock on Rick Perry’s ranch and his college records were found within hours of his announcing his candidacy. Talk about double standards!

It is worth noting that the President who campaigned for a more “open government” and “full disclosure” will not unseal his medical records, his school records, his birth records or his passport records. He will not release his Harvard records, his Columbia College records, or his Occidental College records. He will not even release his Columbia College thesis. All his legislative records from the Illinois State Senate are missing and he claims his scheduling records during those State Senate years are lost as well. In addition, no one can find his school records for the elite K-12 college prep school, Punahou School, he attended in Hawaii. Many of these records would either contain a birth certificate or registration as a foreign born person.POST SCRIPT: Governor Abercrombie has now announced that he cannot release the President’s birth records and has decided to abandon his search.

Romney should offer to reveal the exact same records that Obama has released as president!
Also, here is my unbiased list of things that President Obama will never release: His text messages from when he was Senator Obama, his foreign campaign contribution list, and his emails since 2006!
The election would be ovder for him if these documents surfaced!
