President Obama can’t run on his records, it’s so bad. So he’s just making one up. Check out his first television ad for the 2012 campaign.
It’s a shame it’s full of falsehoods and distortions. Fox Nation has a nice little summary, and the Washington Post’s fact-checker gives it three Pinocchios.
The suggestion that Obama was responsible for the 2.7 million clean-energy jobs or the decline in foreign oil imports is bad enough, though the ad does not directly claim that. We have more trouble with the citation of PolitiFact.
We had originally given this a Four Pinocchio ruling because we believed the campaign had ignored the fact that PolitiFact had changed its ruling. Instead, it turns out it cherry-picked one ruling while ignoring the other negative one. That’s pretty slippery, but it is more of a three Pinocchio violation rather than a Four, so we are revising it downward.

Obama is a legend in his own mind!
Most of his accomplishments are merely duplications of previous legislation, only now he has bragging rights that he signed useless laws into effect!
He is merely a teleprompter reading puppet! His handlers cannot trust him to speak without notes because he is too ignorant to know simple facts such as the number of states in the US, or the current year!
The fact remains, most Americans do not believe that the president has helped the economy. We are not better off financially than when Obama took office!
Obama said that those who cannot lead should be voted out of office, and yet he asks for more opportunities to do nothing! So, his lack of leadership skills is such that he will be remembered as being worse than Clinton or Carter!
