The Obama campaign sent out a fundraising email singling out the Koch Brothers as America’s boogeymen and blaming them for high gas prices. (Just imagine what the press would do if a Republican president did such a thing.) Koch Industries wasted no time in responding.
Because every American has the right to take part in the public discourse on matters that affect the future of our country, I feel compelled to respond directly about a fundraising letter you sent out on February 24 denouncing Koch. It is both surprising and disappointing that the President would allow his re-election team to send such an irresponsible and misleading letter to his supporters.
For example, it is false that our “business model is to make millions by jacking up prices at the pump.” Our business vision begins and ends with value creation — real, long-term value for customers and for society. We own no gasoline stations and the part of our business you allude to, oil and gas refining, actually lowers the price of gasoline by increasing supply. Either you simply misunderstand the way commodities markets work or you are misleading your supporters and the rest of the American people.
As to that last sentence, I’d say it’s a little bit of both.

The real hijacker lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC. He takes bribes from his cronies and therefore must stamp his foot in the mud repeatedly to try to create the image of wrongdoing by others!
Nice try! The Prez wants sympathy over this deal, he would have his supporters believe that two brothers, that 99% of the nation has never heard of, have him trapped. He would like us to buy his claim that the Koch brothers jacked his presidency over oil!
He’s begging for a second term, because he’s too helpless to develop an energy plan in his first term!
Give us a break Obama!

Odumb-dumb could babble like an incoherant idiot (more so than he does now) and the socialist media will spin it to sound like it was uttered from one of our founding fathers. So he can attack whom he wants how he wants and get away with it. We conservatives got to fight the socialist in one corner and the media in the other.
