Leftists Hacked Susan G. Komen Website After Defunding of Planned Parenthood

The Susan G. Komen Foundation stopped donating funds to Planned Parenthood because the abortion provider is under Congressional investigation. Leftists don’t like it when they don’t get their way, so they resort to crime. So it’s no surprise that the Susan G. Komen website was hacked. Gawker.com reported:

Was breast cancer research and fundraising giant Susan G. Komen hacked? It appeared that way when Wednesday night, when those who logged into the sight were greeted with an unorthodox message, likely a result of their changing policies involving Planned Parenthood.

For the few that accessed the site around 12:30AM on Thursday, they were redirected from the regular site (www.komen.org) to an artificial site made by the hackers (ww5.komen.org). The job was so inclusive that even in search engines, you were only able to find the hacked site.

Taking a cue from Komen’s regular messages to would-be walkers of “Help women…”, the hackers instead changed the wording to “Help us run over poor women on our way to the bank.”

With Susan G. Komen hacked, it stands to reason that many people may wonder why, seeing as how they’re a powerhouse in the fight against breast cancer. As many may know, Komen has recently announced their decision to pull funding from Planned Parenthood – a decision that has many former supporters shocked and outraged.

As Gateway Pundit pointed out, “91% of the pregnant women who visit Planned Parenthood have an abortion.”

I know quite a few women who have survived breast cancer thanks to the work of organizations like Susan G. Komen. Anyone who would try to shut them down over an issue like this is evil. It’s one thing to disagree and speak out, it’s quite another to resort to criminal activity to make a political point.

Also of note is that there is a chance abortion could lead to breast cancer. So this decision could literally be a lifesaver for many women.

As a side note: About eight years ago Mr. LC and I, and our older son, who was about 2 at the time, went to a Komen fundraiser at Gilly Lake near Syracuse, NY. It was a great day. They had so many fun things for the kids to do. There were a ton of raffles and I still have the awesome hair straightening iron I won. I clearly remember it was a day of celebrating life. I’ll have to remember to keep an eye out for any future fundraisers and lend my support.
