The White House has announced an “adjustment” to the contraception mandate imposed on churches. The language has been clarified and now insurance companies have to provide the coverage, not the employers. So there really isn’t much of a change to the policy, since the institutions will still be paying for the insurance.
Seeking to allay the concerns of Catholic leaders, the White House is planning to adjust its health care rule requiring religious employers to provide women access to contraception, a senior administration official said Friday. Women will be guaranteed coverage for contraceptive services, but would have to seek the coverage directly from their insurance companies if their employers object to birth control on religious grounds.
I don’t know if self insured employers will be exempt.

More redistribution from the Marxist mind via another unconstitutional edict. This isn’t hard to figure out and it won’t fly. The Regime always unloads this stuff on Fridays hoping no one is paying attention. Wrong again, Generalissimo.

He has absolutely no authority under the Constitution to demand that any private business provide any product for “free”. He’s really very annoyed this afternoon that he had to step back—and yet still believes he has been crowned, not hired, and may “direct” private companies to do as he wishes.
Nice of him to consider an “accommodation” for the Constitution. He needs a good slap in the face to remind him that there IS a Constitution and that he WORKS for us, he does not bless us with his presence. And my apathetic countrymen better get off their indifferent asses and vote this year.
