She’s One to Talk: Michelle Obama Says We Can’t Be Satisfied With Our Families’ Good Fortune

Sometimes words just aren’t adequate to describe such utter hypocrisy. Maybe if the First Lady practiced what she preached she’d be taken a bit more seriously.

First lady Michelle Obama has joined her husband’s bandwagon to hit the rich and spread the wealth, questioning how well-off families can feel good if others are struggling.

To about 300 supporters wealthy enough to pay $300-$10,000 to attend the mid-day event, the first lady said, “If a family in this country is struggling, we cannot be satisfied with our own families’ good fortune.”

She also rapped the rich, as has her husband. “Who do we want to be?” Obama asked. “Will we be a country where success is limited to the few at the top? This country is strongest when we are all better off.”

Fundraising in Cincinnati, Ohio as her husband raised cash in Florida, she also said that the change President Obama offered in 2008 “does not come easy.” And she added, “change is slow, but we will get there,” according to a pool report of the event. (Read More)

She also had the nerve to talk about our children and grandchildren, who will be enslaved to the debt her husband is racking up, while she vacations in style at their expense. Disgusting. Especially coming from a woman who earned hundreds of thousands of dollars per year engaging in a patient dumping scheme.

This is just more junk food for the mind. Unfortunately, some people find it quite tasty and are willing to shell out the big bucks to lap it up.

Update: The Camp of the Saints linked and has more information, including something about President Obama wearing a black dress.

“If a family in this country is struggling, we cannot be satisfied with our own families’ good fortune.”

What the hell does that mean? Is she ready to give up part or all of her family’s vast wealth? Progressive dupes live on a constant diet of her and her husband’s B.S. propaganda.

Moochelle doesn’t understand the difference between ‘sharing’ and ‘taxation’. Which is hard to understand she being a Princeton grad and all. Oh wait .. what was I thinking.

With over 40 years of the “progressive movement”, can anyone point to a time the progressive rich rolled into town handing out money and paying for local civic needs, like a new hospital, roads, waterworks…?

I’ve seen, (and participated in) many organized conservative charity programs to help raise money to fix local community systems.

Isn’t that the motto of the progressive movement:
“Do as I SAY, not as I do.”

Wow, does she really think by robbing working people and producers of business that it will somehow “bring up” those that have no will to earn for themselves? There’s not enough money on the planet to keep those with no resolve to take care of themselves above poverty level. She should look at Africa and all the trillions that have been poured into that part of the world….they are no better off!! “Teach a man to fish”…problem is they DON’T WANT TO FISH!!

So long as socialist run the country, the “poverty stricken” don’t have to learn to fish. We taxpayers are forced to fish, clean, cook and serve up the food for them. Why would they learn a useless trade?
