Those Pesky Founders Keeping Obama From Fully Implementing Agenda

February 7, 2012
By 12 comments

During his Super Bowl pre-game interview, President Obama said he deserves a second term. He also blamed those pesky founders for the checks and balances they implemented which are keeping him from fully implementing his agenda. I guess he didn’t stop to think that’s exactly what they had in mind.

“Our Founders designed a system that makes it more difficult to bring about change than I would like sometimes.”

He went on to say that one of the great things about being president is “You get better as time goes on.” Better at what, his golf game?

WOW, this guy has NO CONCEPT of history does he?
The founding fathers designed that system for a REASON, because a “President” (a term I use very loosely in this guy’s case) is not suppose to rule like a king!

    November can’t come soon enough.

Our glorious wannabe dictator speaks once again on how men – much, much smarter men than him – put roadblocks in his way to power without limits.

Tough. Too bad. Poor little fella.

If this looneytoon character in his seamy Marxist cartoon we are all watching thinks he can take over the world because he’s now gotten “better”, just wait until it gets to the part that says; “That’s all folks”.

    That comes in November.

The Congress has been handing power to the Executive Branch for years, and they are not smart enough to see what they are doing. It is important to boot Obama, but it is MORE important to boot Congressional Representatives and Senators and put TRUE conservatives into office. The people who are there have proven they are incompetent and cannot be trusted with the constitution or our tax dollars. God bless America.

    Sniff! Whine! Babble!
I’m sure Ginsberg warned Obama that there would be days like this when the people in congress would try to resurrect that “stuffy” old constitution!
After 2 years of a super majority, Obama is now facing that primitive notion about sepeation of powers and balance of power!
    Ugh!!
An updated version of Dante’s “Inferno” could be Obama facing a Republican congress with super majority status!
Listening to Obama say he deserves another term is pathetic!
Maybe his 2012 campaign buttons should read, “I want to be a winner too!

Those ignorant founders wrote that constitution without realizing that a communist tyranny is superior to a representative, free market republic. What nearsighted fools! Poor Obama has to suffer their stupidity. Too bad Justice Ginsburg wasn’t there to write it.

      I get your point!

      Innocuous statement?

An innocuous statement is one that is not likely to arouse animus or give offense.

But, when the president of the United States makes a comment – a public statement on national televlsion – that he regrets how our Constitution is hobbling him, only a person like you would consider it innocuous.

To you, what Obama said may have been a completely harmless collection of randomly uttered words with zero impact.

But to those of us who believe in our Constitutional Republic what he said approaches overt treason.

Now to you. I have read enough of your comments to conclude you are just another one of those who have not yet paid any real attention to the calamities this presidency is bringing down apon us all.

However, even you will eventually realize what Obama is doing to us and our country.

When that happens – and it will – Then I hope you will be man enough to step up to the plate and say so.

And apologize for all the childish name-calling.

He wasn’t a Teacher or a Professor. He was a guest lecturer. I bet you were that fat, greasy kid who crapped his pants everyday. No control then, no control now!

Oh, prove that he taught Constitutional Law. Really, get his college transcripts. Get a single article he ever authored, and come back and share it here. You believe he is a “brilliant Constitutional lawyer” because the Press keeps telling you he is. You accept that without asking for any proof. He accomplished nothing in his life except running for higher office and reading from a teleprompter.

Please feel free to obtain and share any single “Constitutional thought” he’s written. I’ll be eager to see it and then find out who he stole that from. Get busy, Comrade.

The fact check link reveals that Obama was never a professor of constitutional law! He says yes, but he is just listed as a senior lecturer at Chicago!

“Our Founders designed a system that makes it more difficult to bring about change than I would like sometimes.”

….they sat down around the table and said Okay, who do we need to protect this country from? What if, some day, an incredibly narcissistic community activist from Chicago is elected? Hmmmmmm…..better write in some protections FOR the People against That Guy…..
