Let’s see, on the left we have politicians who constantly call for more government spending in the name of “investment” and higher taxes in the name of “fairness.” They’re against any laws that would reduce voter fraud, and they want to grant amnesty to people in this country illegally. Their supporters on the ground include union goons, the crime-ridden Occupy Wall Street and internet trolls who harass and impersonate conservatives.
On the right we have at least a few politicians calling for reduced spending so our children aren’t strangled with debt, and tax reform so that everybody really does pay their fair share. They are against voter fraud and for legal immigration. Their supporters on the ground include the law-abiding Tea Party that leaves its environment cleaner than when it arrived.
So, which party is in the “thralls of a reign of terror” from its supporters? Why, the Republican Party, of course. At least according to President Obama’s top campaign adviser David Axelrod.
“A lot of Republicans in Congress want to cooperate, they know better, but they are in the thralls of this reign of terror from the far right that has dragged this party to the right,” Axelrod said on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday morning.
He was talking about how his party failed to pass immigration reform. I suppose he forgot that they controlled both houses of Congress for two out of three of his boss’s years as president.
Axelrod and his ilk have been conducting a reign of terror against the American people for decades. Those people on the “far right” he speaks of are simply getting in their way.

Update: Good grief, he said this administration is saving money when asked about the GSA scandal.

Witness the whining and squealing from the Statist progressive. Blaming Republicans they couldn’t co-opt is signature. I can only hope Mr. Axelrod’s angst will intensify.

A “Reign of Terror,” yes, promoted by Media Matters, MSNBC, EPA, Gunrunner, Eric Holder, Comrade Chu, and a host of Marxist terrorist….against America and the Tea Party! Axelrod always gets things backwards!
Axelrod also says that any poll that shows Obama losing is sampling from the wrong segment of the population, and quite possibly from the wrong year!
Gotta love the propaganda machine!

This is one of the left’s favorite tactics. Accuse the right of something they, themselves, are guilty of. By what stretch of the imagination can he call the Tea Party a reign of terror?
As for his claim that the Obama administration is saving money, that’s just nonsense. Spending has clearly increased since he moved into the White House, and so has our debt. No amount of spin they put on that can prove otherwise.

A democrat projecting their own wrongdoing again.
I would say it is the Democrat party who are in the ‘Thralls of a Reign of Terror’ from Tea Party. But that’s only if you can call honest Americans fighting for the their own country’s constitution, freedom and rights a “Reign of terror”.
A communist would think that way.

Exactly, Grimmer. I have been involved in discussions on two other blogs recently that were plagued with commenters doing that same thing. No matter how we tried to show them the error of their ways, they always came back and accused us of the things the left is guilty of. It was so bad on one post, the comments had to be closed.
I honestly do not believe some of those people will ever see reason.

Axlerod, the fat slob, should keep his mouth civil. He is no longer part of the administration. He is out of touch and is another one just sucking money from the Americans whereever he can.
