NYPD Officers Attacked by OWS Goons Using ‘Black Bloc’ Tactics
On Saturday night, in New York City, a group of Occupy Wall Street organizers demonstrated their new ‘Black Bloc’ tactics and attacked members of the NYPD who responded to the scene of their vandalism. Street thugs who wear black clothes and masks to engage in criminal activities are said to be using Black Bloc tactics developed in Germany in the 1970s.
According to The Blaze, the OWS crowd caused damage to businesses and attacked police officers during their violent outing. RADICALS SMASH WINDOWS AT NYC BUSINESS IN CHILLING DISPLAY OF VIOLENT ‘BLACK BLOC’ TACTICS, Madeleine Morgenstern reports,
Two people were arrested in New York City Saturday night after protesters, some with possible Occupy Wall Street connections, vandalized storefronts in what was described as “black bloc” tactics, the New York Times reported. Gothamist reports that a long-time Occupy organizer was one of those arrested for attacking a NYPD officer with a metal pipe.
This tactic is one of the new behaviors adopted by OWS organizers to increase the aggressive and terror-like actions of the new Occupy group.
Additionally, Pamela Geller reported in Atlas Shrugs blog, OBAMA ENDORSED #OWS ANARCHY IN NEW YORK! PANIC ENSUES #OWS LEADER ASSAULTS NYPD WITH METAL PIPE:
“Cops last night arrested three self-proclaimed anarchists who assaulted two police officers and terrorized patrons at an East Village coffee shop, authorities said.
The melee broke out at 8:45 p.m. when a gang of 25 authority-haters, some wearing masks, wielded 8-foot-long metal pipes and tried to smash the windows of the Starbucks at Astor Place and Lafayette Street, police said.
Coffee drinkers hid under tables during the fracas, cops said.
The group had just left the sixth annual anarchist book fair being held at a church off Washington Square Park.
They then took to the streets marching against traffic chanting, “F— the NYPD!” “Cops are murderers!” and “All pigs must die!” authorities said.
In addition to the Starbucks vandalism, a group of about 150 were seen tipping garbage cans and spray-painting anarchist symbols on storefronts, sources said.
One sergeant spotted, Eric Marchese, 24, smashing windows at several stores in the East Village, police sources said. He was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
Two other protesters, Alexander Penley, 41, and Nicholas Thommen, 30, were slapped with several charges including assault, criminal possession of a weapon and inciting a riot.
This is the promised 99% Spring 2012 assault on America by the Occupiers. Once again, the president has the opportunity to denounce this criminal element. Will he take charge or continue to remain invisible in his leadership role?

Let’s see; a bunch of guys dressed in all black clothing wielding eight foot metal pipes intentionally swinging to inflict harm and damage at plate glass windows that people are setting behind.
I bet we never see this kind of activity in States that have concealed carry of weapons by lawful citizenry.

The only problem as I see it is that this happened in Mayor Bloomberg’s town where it is almost impossible to get a concealed weapons license. Anyone caught with a weapon (except his criminals) is arrested and jailed and their weapon confiscated.
And you’re right. It wouldn’t happen here in Florida where we do carry concealed – - – unless the victim is a Black teenage thug killed by a White man defending himself from an attack.

sounds just like 1969 in the east village. But how do they walk around with 8 foot pipes in public ? Something sounds fishy about that- even in NYC. I hear that area has been gentrified. Frankly, you can tell how civilized the population is by what happens when the electricity goes out – 1964 versus 1977. Did anybody do anything to reverse the trend ? Nope. Not effectively anyway. Probably because they do not know the enemy. I certainly did not, but I was 19 at the time, and growing up in sleepy Rockland never saw the likes of that. But because of incidents like that, I was motivated to learn. Back then there was no internet, and no firehose of information and distraction. BTW it sounds more like the Progressive Labor Party than Anarchists. If they carry pipes, can we carry TwoByFours and chain saws ? i wonder how long it takes to get a license for a chain saw. Once I had to board up my window because of breakins, and went out to a hardware store and got a rip saw – walking back to the apt EVERYBODY crossed to the other side of the street.

Funny thing is, all those people hanging out in the Village who had to cower under the Starbucks tables are likely leftists themselves (that’s the neighborhood there) who have either participated in or sympathize with the occupooper movement. Someone should ask them how they feel about their revolutionaries now.

you gotta let it sink in for about 3 days. Don’t bet on them listening to Rush all of a sudden. They most likely will think that some on the left are peace loving people, and others are violence freaks. They will probably sit around and deplore violence for a while, and then blame it on some people being oppressed, and then blame it on the capitalist system. Also likely is to suspect that the FBI has infiltrated them with Agents Provocateur. Remember that they have read, and listen only to views that reinforce their initial fuzzy lib opinions. Their ‘leaders’ will chime in with comfortable explanations that do not require revising any previously held opinions.

Black bloc tactics have been used widely in riots in Quebec. It’s always the same radical opportunists who don’t really care about the cause, but are clearly leftists. They hide in the crowd and act as flash mobs.
Occupy movements tend to draw these assholes, and they don’t want to condemn their tactics.
