It was previously reported that unionized Red Cross workers in Michigan were going on strike because they wanted better benefits than those offered to non-union employees. Now they are striking, and according to WLNS, some blood donation drives have had to shut down.
The strike, organized by two unions, has forced the organization to reschedule several drives or even cancel them. But some are still on.
I wonder how this will effect people who need blood transfusions. I’m sure it won’t help.

Unions are long past their time in this country. For the most part, they are overpaid sheep following their dictators. Their products and services are massively overpriced and have consistently proven to be inferior to non-union employees. They should all look in their mirrors, thank God for how they’re being paid and for the benefits they’re afforded.
But, greed is the name of their game, plain and simple. Time for them to step in line with the rest of us who must prove daily our worth in the workplace.
The time has come to stop unions in their tracks, bust them up and give them a taste of what the real world of employment is all about.

Sounds like a made up story, much like the made up name. The Red Cross does not make millions selling blood components like LA implies, that would be the plasma centers. A real difference!
