Public Notice kicked off a new campaign urging the Senate to pass a budget via a blogger conference call this morning. #DuringtheLastBudget is the hashtag they’re using to identify things that were different the last time a budget was passed. For instance, the iPad was not yet invented, Anthony Weiner was still a respected member of Congress, and Charlie Sheen was still on 2 1/2 Men.
Here’s the video they just released, highlighting the finger-pointing that’s been going on, and urging you to call your senator at 888-760-7997.

What they have been doing, very diligently, is not passing a budget, not proposing cures for Medicare and Social Security, not securing the border, not reducing spending and borrowing, not fixing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, but they are getting right on the ball to stop Arizona from protecting their citizens. Should we be thankful for this bunch of overpaid, useless slugs? By comparison the Roman Senate of Caligula was a very noble body.
