Calling All Conservative Bloggers – The Army of Davids Needs You

I’m just a small fish in the whole conservative blogosphere. Sure, I may be bigger than a guppy, but I ain’t no big mouth bass and I’m certainly not a shark or a whale. But that doesn’t mean I’m not doing my part. I’ve been subjected to harassment, stalking and impersonation at the hands of the cowardly leftists who work anonymously. Others, like Donald Douglas, have endured worse. Now Aaron Worthing is the target, and the people who have Worthing in their sites are much worse than the garden-variety criminals I’ve been dealing with.

The guy going after worthing is Brett Kimberlan, a convicted domestic terrorist, drug dealer and document forger. He’s also a pathological liar. His unique ability to butcher the truth caught the eyes of prominent leftists like George Soros, Barbara Streisand and Teresa Heinz Kerry (wife of former Senator and presidential candidate John Kerry) who have donated tens of thousands of dollars to his “charity” through their foundations.

Last night when I wrote about this (post was updated and bumped so it’s dated today) I was at the end of a very long day and didn’t have the time or energy to get into details and was hoping you would follow the links. Anyway, this Kimberlin guy should not be a free man. His claim to fame is setting bombs all over the town of Speedway, Indiana. Here’s a news report describing his crimes.

It was at Speedway High School where the freshman football team had just played a game and the players were still getting dressed. Hundreds of parents and students were either waiting in their cars or walking through the parking lot after the game.

A Speedway High School gym bag had been left by itself, as if forgotten by a player. One of the parents, Carl DeLong, 39, walked over to retrieve it when the bomb went off. His right leg was nearly blown off and his left leg and right hand were severely damaged. Doctors tried to save his leg but had to amputate.

The bomb that maimed Carl DeLong on Sept. 6, 1978 turned out to be the last one, but residents of Speedway didn’t know that. Each day people wondered when and where the Speedway Bomber would strike again. As far as the public knew, investigators had no idea who was behind it.

If you read the whole thing, you’ll note that these bombings went on for several nights before the victim, Mr. DeLong, was critically injured. The whole town was terrorized and living in fear. A few years later, after losing his leg and having fingers reattached, Mr. DeLong took his own life due to the pain he endured thanks to Brett Kimberlin, the perpetrator of these crimes. DeLong’s widow (who was also injured) sued Kimberlan, and was awarded over $1.5 million. He had a long criminal record, but thanks to lax federal criminal laws, his 50 year sentence was reduced to 17 and now he’s out on the streets, the internet, and the courtrooms, harassing conservative politicians and bloggers, while hiding his income so he doesn’t have to pay Mrs. DeLong.

Kimberlan started out with big fish, as I pointed out last night, but they have resources to fight him. Bloggers like Aaron Worthing don’t have those resources. He’s just like you and me. He’s a normal guy, but now he’s worse off because he lost his job thanks to this lunatic Kimberlin. And Kimberlin is able to go after bloggers like Worthing because Kimberlin’s so-called “non-profit” receives funding from the left wing sources mentioned above. Are these foundations just run by dupes who have no idea where there money is going, or do they know exactly what they’re spending their money on? Who knows, the only national media outlet I found that reported on this was Fox News. If we get our whole army mobilized will they have to take notice?

Oh, and something else Stacy reminded us of is that Kimberlan the bomber is a known associate of Democrat operatives. Shocking, I know.

In short, this story needs to get out there. The left is desperate, and they’re relying on scummy criminals like Kimberlan to go after their opponents. They will stop at nothing. The only way to counter them is to spread this information far and wide. If you’re a blogger, write a post about it. If you’re a reader, share this information with everyone on your email list. If you tweet, tweet this information to all of your followers. Kimberlin doesn’t have the resources to come after all of us, and this is not the time to cower in fear. They mean business, and so do we. It’s about time the silent majority stands up.

Look, most of us conservative bloggers don’t have the resources to fight these dirty dealers. But if we all work together, the dirty dealers don’t have the resources to fight all of us. We may not be that powerful on our own, and as much as I’m against collectivism, this is one of those times when  we all need to join together in a fight. Because if we let them take down one of us, it’s only a matter of time before they take down all of us. Are you in?
